Continuous action by state police has broken back of drug trafficking in Goa: CM

Panaji, Jun 26 : Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant Today said continuous action by the state police had broken the back of drug trafficking in the state.

In a tweet, he said in the last two years over 275 kg of illegal drugs worth nearly Rs 15 crore had been seized with nearly 400 cases registered and over 450 persons arrested.

‘On International Day Against Drug Abuse, Goa reiterates its commitment to Zero Tolerance to Illegal Drugs. Continuous action by #GoaPolice has broken the back of drug trafficking in the state.
